rab Thai Kitchen Street, is a small restaurant, located just a few minutes from Old Street Station. The concept developed is a simple interior, for restaurant design. Manandjoy in cooperation with the lifeform design, creating image the streets to serve Thai food, appropriate with what is wanted by the owner, return the way to eat real Thai food, with a more simple way, and certainly with a more affordable price. Grab principled to enjoy Thai food, do not have to be expensive in those places. Grab hoping to reaching a broader market than it already is for this, and also to better introduce the culture of dining Thailand style.
In translating the concept, then Manadjoy Kifeform + design, trying to include elements of urban street scenes, using building materials and furniture that has a simple design, referring to the restaurant interior is clean and minimalist. To that end, selected road construction materials, such as corrugated tin to lining walls of the restaurant. As for the seat for the visitors, using a red plastic bench, that surrounds the long wooden table. At the back table, mounted menu board that displays a list of Thai style street food cuisine, made from wood pallets. Use of unfinished furniture or road construction materials, it seems the current fads, and quite popular among the designers.
For lighting, use regular light bulb, with the red wire hanging in the sky-blue-sky, that purposely left clutter, to provide a separate accent for the restaurant interior, that describes the image of urban street vending in Thailand. Overall restaurant design, with simple interior, making the atmosphere was relaxed, and warm. Expected visitors can re-find dining a real Thai food.
